Restaurant & menu

Good food belongs at the table.

Dealand Hearth is an independent Australian restaurant in Fitzroy, Victoria, made for unhurried dining, shared plates and good conversation. It is a refined, contemporary room with a warm welcome: somewhere to settle into an early meal, bring friends together, or give an ordinary evening a little more shape.

Tables can carry a meal, cocktails and conversation before or after an offline poker night, but dining always stands on its own. The card room is a real-world social setting for live poker and social Texas Hold’em tournaments; guests are just as welcome to come only for dinner, drinks or dessert.

A table for the evening

Settle in, share well

Quality dining here is built around the pace of a real table. Begin with lighter plates, pass something across the centre, choose a considered main, and leave enough room for the conversation to wander. Warm light, attentive table service and a contemporary setting make it easy to linger without turning dinner into a formal script.

A social table, not a formal script

Come as one diner, meet friends over cocktails, or gather a longer table when the occasion asks for it. Dealand Hearth is local and approachable, with room for a weeknight meal as comfortably as a catch-up that rolls into the evening. The mood is considered, never stiff.

Made for a relaxed pace

There is no need to rush through a course or perform a particular kind of night out. Order in the rhythm that suits the people at your table: a lighter start, dishes to share, a settled plate, or simply drinks and conversation. The point is a table that feels easy to return to.

Dinner beside a real card-room ritual

For some guests, the evening may continue around live poker and social Texas Hold’em in our welcoming, offline card room. For others, it ends happily with dessert. Dining never requires participation; it is simply part of the social rhythm of a venue made for gathering.

Dining, your way

From first course to last hand

A dinner can stand entirely on its own at Dealand Hearth. Book a table for a meal, drinks or dessert, whether or not a card-room plan follows. The restaurant comes first, and non-players are welcome to make an evening of the dining room without needing to know anything about poker.

Start with the restaurant

Make plans around the table that suits your evening, then let food, drinks and conversation take their natural course. A dining reservation is for the restaurant only, with no assumptions about what comes after.

For guests joining live poker

If you are also visiting for Offline Texas Hold’em, check the latest poker schedule and reserve a seat where relevant before attending. The card room is venue-based and social; dinner plans can sit alongside it, but current tournament information is the right place for session-specific details.

An evening with its own pace

Choose the path that best suits the people around your table, then take the next practical step.

A table for two or a few

Plan a relaxed meal, a drink-led catch-up or an evening that feels spontaneous while still benefiting from a reservation. This is the straightforward dining path: choose your company, arrive ready to settle in, and let the table do the rest.

The shared-table occasion

Bring different tastes together around share plates and mains, with cocktails, wine and zero-proof options all part of the same conversation. The menu gives a table flexibility without needing everyone to order in exactly the same way.

A longer night around the card room

Groups interested in live poker can plan dinner as one part of a broader social night, then check the current schedule for social Texas Hold’em details. The card room remains a separate, offline venue experience.
