Dealand Hearth · venue terms
Terms and Conditions
These terms set out the conditions for using the Dealand Hearth website and for taking part in our in-venue restaurant, card-room, poker-night and private-event services. They are intended to make expectations clear for guests and for the venue before plans are made.
Dealand Hearth is an independent Australian restaurant and offline poker venue/card room offering dining, crafted drinks, live poker and social Texas Hold’em tournaments. These terms apply when you use dealandhearth.com, make an enquiry, seek a booking or attend relevant activity at the venue.
Who these terms cover
-
01
Independent venue identity
Dealand Hearth is an independent Australian restaurant and offline poker venue. We welcome guests to a physical venue at 18 Wattle Lane, Fitzroy VIC 3065, Australia, where dining, crafted drinks, table service, live poker and social gatherings take place in person. References to poker or the card room on this website describe venue-based experiences and practical visitor information. They are not an offer of a remote or digital service.
-
02
No online poker platform
This website is not an online poker platform or casino website. Dealand Hearth does not provide remote poker play, digital player accounts or casino-style online services through this site. Our pages, schedules, reservation pathways and enquiry tools are provided to help visitors understand and plan for in-venue hospitality and offline poker activity. Any poker participation happens at the venue, subject to current event, table and venue information.
-
03
Acceptance through use
By using this website, making a restaurant booking request, submitting an enquiry, seeking a poker-seat reservation or attending relevant venue activity, you accept the applicable terms and reasonable venue instructions. Some dining, event or card-room activities may have additional current information supplied when you book, receive confirmation or arrive. Those details are intended to help both newcomers and experienced players understand the arrangements that apply to their visit.
Website, enquiries and booking requests
Information may change
We aim to provide useful, current information, but menus, dining availability, poker schedules, tournament information, private-event options and venue details may change. Before attending, please review the latest information available from the venue and confirm anything important to your plans through current website information or direct communication. Poker nights and tournament poker are operational offerings, so details should be checked again close to your intended visit.
-
04
Requests are subject to confirmation
A request is not confirmed until Dealand Hearth confirms it through its chosen communication channel. This includes a table booking request, poker-seat reservation request and private-event enquiry. Please provide accurate contact details so we can respond where appropriate. Availability may be limited or affected by venue operations, and submitting a form or enquiry does not itself create a guaranteed table, seat or event arrangement. For clarification, contact [email protected].

05
Appropriate website use
Use dealandhearth.com lawfully and respectfully. Please do not interfere with the website’s operation, misrepresent your identity, or provide misleading information when making an enquiry or reservation request. Accurate information and considerate communication help us plan reliable hospitality and card-room experiences. This principle applies whether you are arranging a dinner, checking poker information or planning a group visit.
Dining and venue attendance
Respectful shared hospitality
Dealand Hearth is a shared social setting for diners, newcomers, experienced players, staff and other visitors. We ask everyone to treat one another respectfully in the restaurant, at the bar and throughout the card room. Disruptive, unsafe, abusive or unlawful conduct may affect a guest’s ability to remain at the venue or participate in an activity. This expectation is intended to protect the welcoming atmosphere that makes a thoughtful meal or a live table enjoyable for everyone.
A shared room works best with shared respect.
Venue instructions and safety
Guests must follow reasonable venue, safety and staff directions, including directions connected with dining service, event operations and card-room activity. Dealand Hearth may use reasonable discretion where needed to support safety, comfort and lawful operations in its refined, contemporary in-person environment. Directions are not intended to diminish hospitality; they help maintain a considerate setting where staff can look after guests and the room can function well.
Care for the setting
Please take reasonable care of the venue, its furnishings, and any cards, chips or other equipment made available during your visit. This is part of respecting a shared hospitality and live poker setting. In particular:
- handle shared tables, cards, chips and furnishings with ordinary care;
- follow staff guidance when equipment or a table area needs attention; and
- raise accidental damage or a concern with staff promptly.
Offline poker and card-room participation
-
06
Offline poker only
In-person card-room activity
Live poker at Dealand Hearth takes place in person at the venue. Our offline Texas Hold’em and social poker nights are subject to current event, table and venue information. The website may help visitors review schedules or make an enquiry, but it does not enable remote play or online tournament participation. Please check the latest information before attending, particularly if your visit depends on a specific session, table arrangement or social poker gathering.
-
07
Current tournament and table information
Format, start time, buy-in, tournament entry details, seat availability, prize details and other operational information should be checked against the latest venue information and any relevant event communication. These details may vary, and availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by the venue. Terms used in poker information are practical descriptors:
- Buy-in
- Current entry information for a particular in-venue session or event.
- Tournament entry
- Attendance information that should be confirmed with the venue where relevant.
- Prize details
- Any current event information communicated by the venue for that specific activity.
-
08
Fair and respectful table conduct
Players are expected to respect staff, other players, cards, chips, table procedures and reasonable card-room directions. This helps keep the live poker experience comfortable for the whole community, including people joining a table for the first time and regular participants. We do not set out every table procedure here; current guidance is available at the venue and may reflect the particular session or table in use.
Ask the team for current table guidance when you arrive.
Private events and group arrangements
Enquiries are planning conversations
A private-event enquiry helps us understand your group’s needs; it does not create a confirmed event arrangement on submission alone. Dining, drinks, table service and card-room experiences may be topics in a planning conversation, but availability and any arrangements are subject to direct confirmation. This gives organisers a clear opportunity to discuss the intended experience while allowing the venue to confirm what is suitable and available.
Details should be accurate and timely
Please provide accurate contact and event information, and let us know if material details change after an enquiry or confirmation discussion. Useful planning information may include:
- your group’s requirements and preferred timing; and
- the intended hospitality or card-room experience at a high level.
For updates or clarification, email [email protected].
Venue confirmation and reasonable conditions
Event details, venue instructions and any applicable conditions will be communicated during the planning and confirmation process. Group organisers are responsible for sharing relevant information with attendees, particularly where it supports safe, respectful dining and card-room participation. If anything is uncertain, please seek clarification before finalising arrangements by email or on +61 488 915 243.
Limits, changes and legal interpretation
Information and availability
Dealand Hearth aims to present useful current information, while menu items, event details, table availability, poker nights and card-room arrangements may change. If your plans are time-sensitive, please seek direct confirmation before attending. This is especially helpful where a particular dining time, poker session or group arrangement matters to your visit. Clear confirmation supports practical planning for both guests and the venue.
Updates to these terms
Dealand Hearth may update these terms when venue, website or operational arrangements change. The current version published on this page should be reviewed before use or attendance, particularly when planning a return visit or future event. You can refer to the current page at /terms-and-conditions/.
Australian context and questions
These terms are intended for Dealand Hearth’s Australian venue operations. They are written to provide a clear practical framework, not to replace a conversation where an explanation would help. If you would like clarification before making plans, please contact [email protected].
